Packed with neon-soaked fashion, outrageous comedy and a memorable supporting performance from Meshach Taylor as the flamboyant Hollywood Montrose, the film became a surprise box office hit in 1987 and remains a beloved cult classic. Its infectious theme song, Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now by Starship, was nominated for an Academy Award and became one of the biggest hits of the decade.
